Several residents of Mexico shared shocking video footage of
a UFO seemingly hovering to the ground, drawing a mixed
    response.

Videos on social media captured what appeared to be an
oval-sized object hovering over the western city of
    Zitácuaro on September 8.

The footage shows the UFO-like figure hovering near a
tree while a second recording captured it slowly moving
in front of the overcast skies.

The alleged flying saucer sightings were reported in
the neighborhoods of El Naranjo and Manzanillos.

    . . .

MIGHT be a balloon ... though in one segment
it DOES seem to execute some little ultra-speed
    maneuvers.

In any case, this sort of vid beats the shit
out of the usual "fuzzy little lights in the
    night sky" crap.

Description - kinda low dome top with a small
rim and a cone/polygon of lesser diameter
underneath. This COULD be a design for a
balloon, with the filling/heat vent on the
    bottom.

I still wanna see the 500' triangle UFO doing
a low slow pass over Cleveland with 1000+
    vids ..........

UFOs are regularly seen in central/south America.
Maybe they still think their Incan/Olmec buds are
    around ??? :-)

Can't be a UFO; the camera isn't grainy enough.

    Ha, Ha !

    Know what you mean :-)

Hey, with ultra-tech low-light cams built into
almost every phone, HOW COME all the UFO pics
    REMAIN so CRAPPY ???

You OUGHT to be able to read a model number
on the things now, even after dark,

Seriously though, that's very intresting. I don't know of anything that
looks like that naturally, but I'm also hesitant to call it a UFO immediately. If that be a sky lantern, it's a very weird one. Could it be anything else?

IMHO, I'd most likely say it's some kind of balloon.
The smaller bottom section really looks like a path
to charge the thing with gas or hot air. These days
most anybody could build such a thing.

The ONE odd thing was vid taken while the thing was
a bit higher-up, framed by power lines. It DID seem
to do a few ultra-speed maneuvers.

Anyway, STILL waiting for the Big One over Cleveland ...

In ANY case, if there *are* ETs, they don't seem very
interested in talking to us. As such they are mostly
IRRELEVANT except as a curiosity. MAYbe in 1000 years
they'll say something. Alas, for several reasons, we
will probably back to sticks and rocks in 1000 years ...
