The weak find contentment in the consensus of ignorance. Here, we do not. Enjoy. r ... r ...
Yes, there IS a consensus of ignorance. It's woven around the flat earth narrative. It's YOU and the other flerfs who perpetuate and spread it.
The ancient Greeks realized that we can only live on a globe some 2500
years ago, then, about 2300 years ago, we got our first estimate of the
polar circumference of the Earth. Over time, that estimate got
progressively refined.
Then, some 500 years ago, we had accumulated enough observations and
knowledge to realize that the Earth orbits the Sun, and that the ONLY
thing that do orbit the Earth is the Moon.
By the way, the Sun and the Moon are NOT small and local.
YOU claim that we don't, and can't, know what the Moon is made off. You
claim the same about the Sun and the stars.
We DO know what the Moon is made of : ROCK.
We DO know that the Sun is really a star.
We DO know what the Sun and stars are made of through the use of
spectroscopy : Mostly hydrogen and helium.
We DO know what cause the Sun and stars to glow : Nuclear fusion of
hydrogen into helium in the core of the stars.
