    I would be quite surprised if the eventual winner is not one of Betis, Fiorentina or Chelsea, but you can never tell how seriously teams will
    take the less prestigious competitions.

    On the balance of probabilities you would expect that to be the
    case.

    but you can never tell how seriously teams will take
    the less prestigious competitions.

    Chelsea seem to be taking it seriously enough, even if the
    trophy itself is "less prestigious" in the big scheme of things.
    If you're in it, you want to win it.

    And on paper, they do seem to be in the easier half of the draw
    when it comes to the path to the final.
