    I thought Aggie had retired.

He's almost there! Let me quote from the "Useful info" section:
"A. Aggie the Agnostic: doesn't want to change anything
[until the end of the 2000-01 season: last match's XI. starting from
the 2001-02 season: retired]" Also, the "Season" subsection informs
you that it is 1998/99 in The Staff world.

Why has she decided to retire anyway?

You agreed with Will's suggestion about the XI to field.

DaBullesque finish by Vanhala, then the Angry Bird
Man let in a softie, something that Mazzantini rarely
if ever does anymore. Has he become more crucial to
    our success than Tauriainen?

    Ciao,

He did! (or maybe it's just a common Finnish name?)

    I vote Aggie.

I thought Tsymbalar was not involved sufficiently. I vote Ollie.
