After a Google search, the closest I could come up was from The
Sopranos, Series 5, Episode 4, "All Happy Families" :

"He called the English teacher Daddio."

Yep, that's it. I been re-watching some of the episodes lately, and that
    was one of them.

Tony & Carmella were called into AJ's school because he was in  trouble.
The first thing Tony says is : "What did he do, call the English teacher Daddy-O"?

    -----------
I remember thinking that was anachronistic--Tony was supposed to have
been born in 1960. A Coasters record from before he was born probably
wouldn't have been top of mind for him.

What may have been on his mind was "The Blackboard Jungle," in which the "delinquents" call the teacher Daddy-O. Lieber/Stoller may have gotten it from there, and may even been referring to it (since r'n'r was thought to have been kickstarted by the very loud use of "Rock Around The Clock" over the credits).

Tony knew oldies. He listened to CBS-FM and the show often used songs
from with before he was born or when he was a baby. He hung out with a
lot of older guys too, like Paulie and Hesch. I'm sure he was familiar
    with "Charlie Brown."
