call me self-indulgent if you will :-)

over two decades, *if I've gotten around to it*, I've suffixed my mp3s
with blank, (g{old}), (G), (Gg) or (GG) - for future replay and so on
    guidance

today I'd like to present the first 10 of my (Gg)/(GG) sides from
1960-1967, chosen as I come across them while perusing my library

(these are genuine personal faves, absolutely none are calculated to
impress anyone; in fact, some may well unimpress :-)

Acker Bilk - Stranger On The Shore - 1962

    Andy Starr and The Casinos - Just-A-Walkin - 1960 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN7zSjbZMOU

Arthur Alexander - Anna (Go To Him) - 1962

Big Sambo & The House Wreckers - The Rains Came - 1962

    Billy Fury - Wondrous Place - 1960

Acker Bilk - Stranger On The Shore - 1962

This is from 1961 (November 1961 to be precise)

Originally released in UK on local Columbia label it reached #1 here in
the first week of January 1962.

The melody was originally titled "Jenny" but was changed when it was
selected to front a new childrens BBC-TV serial titled "Stranger On The
    Shore"
