    Here's the playlist:

    1. THE BIG HEAVY, Cozy Eggleston

From 1954 a decent honker that was used as a theme number by Alan Freed
(tho I never heard him use it on his Radio Luxembourg show where Red
Prysock's "Hand Clappin'" was the most oft used theme)

    3. SKIP IT, FLIP IT, Mabel Lee

Decent unreleased number from either very late 1955 or very early 1956 depending
on which source you believe. This wasn't on YT (at least not here) but it
    is
    now
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CiyELGQwRo

    4. MUST BE FALLING IN LOVE, The Duponts (feat. Little Anthony)

"Little Anthony" Gourdine in a pre-Imperials group on a catchy upbeat
number on the Winley label that scores a good 7 on my 1956 list

    6. NADINE, Chuck Berry

Unlike a lot of other fans this one was always very much Grade 2 Chuck
Berry with me. It's good but not on the same level as his real classics
    like "Johnny B.Goode" etc

    7. THE HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE, Chan Romero

Originally on Del-Fi in US in 1959 it appeared on Columbia here in UK
where it became very popular on the club circuit especially up
North--where the fledgling Beatles added the song to their club
repertoire (a version by them appears on the "At The BBC" album). The
song was later recorded by Merseybeat group The Swinging Blue Jeans who
took it to #2 on the UK chart in 1963

    9. WEAR YOUR BLACK DRESS, Willie Egan

Strident number on the Vita label this is one of his VERY best IMO--a 9
    on my 1956 favorites list

    10. BO BO SKA DIDDLE DADDLE, Wayne Walker

From 1957 on Columbia its one I never warmed to I'm afraid

    11. THE STROLL, The Diamonds

IMO from their extensive catalog they made two really good records.
Their (superior) cover of the Gladiolas "Little Darlin'" is one. The
    above number
    is t'other

    15. HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL, Jerry Lee Lewis

Easily the best bit of an otherwise dull and boring movie sadly IMO

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hqyd6koQr_I

    16. SOMEBODY TOUCHED ME, Buddy Knox

One of his better singles in the wake of "Party Doll"--here reviving the
    Ruth
    Brown song from 1954

    18. FEVER, Little Willie John

Yes it's the best version but I also like the later Peggy Lee
reading--one of the few songs where extra added lyrics really work and
    make even me take notice

    19. FUJIYAMA MAMA, Wanda Jackson

With a backing crew containing Buck Owens,Billy Strange and Merrill
    Moore
Wanda revives the Annisteen Allen number from 1954 that was #4 in the
    recent
"Fave 20 Femmes From 1957" post on here

    20. TRAIN DONE GONE, Eddie Kirkland

From January 1962 here's a fine blues (an 8 on my 1962 list) recorded at
    the
Van Gelder Studio,Englewood Cliffs,NJ and released on the Tru-Sound
    label.Good
backing from the King Curtis band

    22. PIPELINE, The Chantays

#4 on my recent Fave Instrumentals of 1962 list posted on here

    28. RENDEZVOUS WITH YOU, The Desires

IIRC a fave of Norm K whose persistent praise for it turned a
then-newcomer to this group onto it and made it a fave of his too

    30. HONEY HUSH, Joe Turner

One of Joe Turner's best ever numbers originally released under title "Yakity-Yak" in 1953

    39. ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM, The Collegians

Long time fave on the Winley label an 8 on my 1958 faves list

    40. DON’T HANG UP, The Orlons

The Orlons were a group that never really registered with me. I don't
find anything by them a stand out tho "Don't Hang Up" is probably my
    pick as their best number

    41. DON’T GO ‘WAY, Bobby Kent & The Kentones

For this record Bobby understandably changed his surname from
"Kassiotis" to "Kent" on his home state (Massachsetts) Bay-State label

    42. BOTTLE TO THE BABY, Charlie Feathers

The GREAT flipside of his best ever record IMO "One Hand Loose" on King
    but
originally recorded (several takes) for Sun at the beginning of 1956

    43. ALONE (Why Must I Be Alone), The Shepherd Sisters

The original version of a song I really liked at the time and tho its
faded quite a bit since it's still not a hater. Released on the Lance
label (which was titled that way to get extra plays since "Lance" was
the name of Alan Freed's son. Over here the Shepherds charted but were
outdone by a wimpy Petula Clark cover that she took to #2 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp3lch1f-tQ

I like "She Say" as much as those two.
