So you consider other factors besides what the recording actually sounds
like when you are deciding how good it is?
4. *Nostalgia*: A big part of enjoying retro music is the sense of
nostalgia it evokes. For some, this feeling might be diminished if
they know the music is artificial and not from the era it emulates.

Ironically, this post appears to have been written by a chatbot
the above sentences capture my feelings about the AI music. I couldn't
put my finger on *why* I feel such revulsion towards it. This explains
it in part. Thank you, Geoff and friend.

This AI R&B Vocal Group record is IMO better than at least half of the
vocal group records that were actually made in the 50s.

A - That can't be the case for Dean at all as he was not yet born by the
end of 1963, and...
B - Most of what you listen to these days you never even heard of back
then. So there's no nostalgia when you hear "Honey Hush" by Joe Turner
or "Honest by the Gazelles or ANYTHING by Stick McGhee, Smiley Lewis, or
the Swallows.

You can post these links till the cows come home but you won't get me to listen to it. I am not a character in "1984" and I am not interested in
fake music.
