    03. Guy Mitchell - Singing The

I presume "Blues" is the missing word here but....

Guy Mitchell isn't the original version ---Marty Robbins recorded and
released it earlier and is usually presented as the original but that
may not be the case since we met and talked to Marty at a country show
and he told us that that Melvin Endsley provided a demo to him which if
that was really the case then Endsley himself may well have the original

YT indicated "no issues" with this one but that may just apply to UK
US viewers might want to hurry on this one as it may get blocked again
    there shortly

Thanks. It seems there never was an Endsley release of "Singing The
Blues" so Marty Robbins' recording on Nov 3, 1955 is indeed the
original. The later Guy Mitchell recording was released in Oct 1956
and incredibly spent ten weeks at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Pop chart.

The Marty Robbins original version, recorded at the Bradley Studios in Nashville, made it to #1 on the Billboard C&W Best Sellers chart for
an incredible 13 weeks in late 1956 and early 1957.

I, personally, slightly prefer the Marty Robbins version.
