• Arnold Schwarzenegger Slams Anti-ICE Rioters: "They Are Not Smart"

From Ubiquitous@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jun 19 12:45:59 2025

Actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger slammed the violent mobs rioting across the U.S. during his Thursday appearance on ôThe View,ö criticizing illegal aliens for not acting as ôguests.ö

Joy Behar, one of the hosts of ôThe View,ö attempted to bait the ôTerminatorö star by asking him if he had a ôvisceral reactionö to the ICE raids happening throughout the country, as he is an immigrant himself.

Arnold Schwarzenegger doesnÆt take the bait when The ViewÆs Joy
Behar asks him about the ICE raids in California:

ôIÆm so, so happy to see first-hand that this IS the greatest
country in the world and it IS the land of opportunityà

àWhen you come to America, youÆre a guest.à

    ù Townhall.com (@townhallcom) June 17, 2025

ôI am so proud and happy that I was embraced by the American people,ö Schwarzenegger replied.

ôEvery single thing ù if itÆs my bodybuilding career, if itÆs my acting
career, becoming governor, the beautiful family that IÆve created ù all of
this is because of America. And so this is why IÆm so, so happy [to] see
first hand that this is the greatest country in the world and it is the land
    of opportunity.ö

Schwarzenegger then announced that he will deliver a speech at Mount Vernon
to celebrate the 250th birthday of America, where some immigrants will be
sworn in as U.S. citizens, and that he is excited to celebrate the benefits
    of immigration.

ôThe key thing also is, at the same time, that youÆve got to do things [legally],ö he clarified. ôThat is the important thing. Those people that are doing illegal things in America ù and theyÆre the foreigners ù they are not smart.ö

As he spoke, multiple hosts attempted to interrupt him, with Sunny Hostin
even placing her hand on SchwarzeneggerÆs arm as though she wanted him to
    stop speaking.

ôWhen you come to America, youÆre a guest and you have to behave like a
guest,ö Schwarzenegger stated. ôLike, when I go to someoneÆs house and IÆm a guest, I will do everything I can to keep things clean and to make my bed and to do everything that is the right thing to do rather than committing a crime or being abusive or something like that.ö

Schwarzenegger has criticized the Trump administration and previously
endorsed Kamala HarrisÆ presidential run, remaining one of the few
Republicans to oppose Donald Trump. However, his rhetoric on ôThe Viewö conflicts with mainstream leftist views on the immigration crisis.

ôThe important thing is, when you become an immigrant, to think about ù okay,
I go to America because I want to use America for the great opportunities
that America has in education, in jobs, [and in] creating a family. à Then
you have to think about ù okay, if I get all of those things from America,
then I have to give something back. You have a responsibility as an immigrant to give back to America and to pay back America and to go and do something
for your community for no money whatsoever. à Make this country a better place.ö

The hosts attempted to interrupt, but could not be heard after the audience erupted into applause.

The open borders crowd has even criticized those swearing-in ceremonies,
saying they should be stopped because they're used as propaganda by the Right to highlight "the correct way to become a citizen", when in their opinion, you shouldn't have to be sworn in or pass any tests or be vetted. All you should have to do is pay a cartel coyote to smuggle you across the border in the dark of night and you automagically become a citizen.

That was my favorite part. The camera was only on Arnold so you just see this set of Hostin claws suddenly creep into frame and settle on his arm. His eyes glance down at it for split second and then he keeps going and the crone hand starts to retreat back off camera.

The hosts attempted to interrupt, but could not be heard after the audience erupted into applause.

I can only imagine the enraged snorts and bellows from Whoopi and Joy after they cut to commercial.

Oh boy, another The View update from our resident The View obsessive.

Because either he knew -- or is too ignorant to know -- people who
aren't doing "illegal things" are also disappearing without due process
and that's what Hostin was probably going to say.

Stupid question perhaps but how is America going to be greater FOR YOU
the immigrant if you don't try to do your part to make it better for
    everybody?

I know "Greed is Good" but Gordon Gecko was a villain, not somebody
