• [OT] Excellent long term interview of David Starkey

From Rhino@21:1/5 to All on Fri May 16 19:32:01 2025
I first came across (Prof.) David Starkey, the British academic, sharing
his historical knowledge in BBC documentaries where he was something of
a mainstay for a while. However, he apparently fell afoul of the BBC and
found himself "cancelled" by the Deep State (or, as he calls it "The
Blob") so he's not seen as much as he once was.

This video is a lengthy interview of him by a guy I've never heard of
but it's a truly masterful assessment of how Britain in particular and
the West in general came to its present dire state and how it might find
its way back to sanity. It's lengthy and I'm sure your time is precious
to you but I think you might find this worth hearing. He clearly still
has hope that things can be turned around and has devoted his remaining
years - he's 80 - to doing everything he can to restore Britain to what
it was in his youth and young adulthood.
