The network has canceled the comedy after three seasons. The show aired
its third season finale, which will now serve as a series ender, on
Tuesday — although sources say Warner Bros. TV, which produces the show with Universal TV, may try to find a new home for the series.
Night Court stars Melissa Rauch (who also executive produces) as Abby
Stone, a judge in Manhattan’s often chaotic night court and the daughter
of Harry Stone, the lead character in the original 1984-92 series (who
was played by the late Harry Anderson).

That blows! I had my doubts about reviving this but I thought they did a remarkable job of recapturing the zaniness of the original and would
happily have watched more seasons.
Here's hoping they find a new home on some other network or streamer!

Wow - it's a bloodbath at NBC!
I think they're cancelling *all* of their shows that have premiered in
the last 3 years.
Reddit is talking about NBA on NBC as the reason, but I think there's
more too this.
The "Chicago" shows probably got lucky that one of them wasn't cancelled
too. (I'd vote for PD, which seems pointless to me without either Sophia
Bush or she-who-smiles-inappropriately...)

I'm hoping that The Hunting Party survives. Based on ratings, it
shouldn't, but they have to keep some programming on their schedule.

It's actually gotten better since SWSI left!

I'm sorry - I like her, but Marina Squerciati cannot carry that show by herself!

I'm going to blame too many cast changes.
A segment of the audience is like me - resistant or downright hostile to
esp. unnecessary cast changes, and this show went through at least 2 or
3 of those.
