    Ha ha ha ha!!

We all know there is *zero* chance that The All New! NEW!! CW will renew
    this show again!!

            Tuesday, May 6

        Broadcast and cable:

Night Court      (season 3 finale)         (8 and 8:30 pm, two episodes,

I lost all interest in this show when they replaced India de Beaufort. I haven't seen a second of season #3.

        Streaming:

Poker Face      (season 2 premiere)         (3:01 am, Peacock) >>
    Rian Johnson's Colombo-influenced mystery-of-the-week anthology series
starring Natasha Lyonne as a woman (with unusual lie-detecting
abilities) on the run across America returns for a second season today.
Once again you can expect a tremendous lineup of guest stars: This
season's roster includes Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, Sam
Richardson, Justin Theroux, Kumail Nanjiani, Melanie Lynskey, Margo
Martindale, B.J. Novak, Awkwafina, Alia Shawkat, Carol Kane, John Cho,
Natasha Leggero, John Mulaney, Richard Kind, Taylor Schilling, Rhea
Perlman, Simon Helberg, Haley Joel Osment, Ego Nwodim, Geraldine
Viswanathan, David Alan Grier, Method Man, Katie Holmes, and more. 12
episodes, with three streaming today, followed by weekly single-episode
    releases through July 10.

One of those shows I might watch, if I had unlimited time. But I have
much *less* time for TV viewing these days. Heck, it's rapidly
approaching only about 1-hour of serious TV viewing a day right now!

Criminal Minds: Evolution      (season 3 premiere)         (3:01 am,
    Paramount+)

The new season picks up six months after prisoners attack the notorious
Sicarius Killer, Elias Voit, leading his restless followers on the dark
web to begin wreaking havoc all over the country. The BAU is forced to
work alongside an increasingly unpredictable Voit who has his own
agenda. Ten episodes released weekly through July 10. Season 4 has been
    ordered.

    See "Poker Face", above.

        Broadcast and cable:

The Jane Mysteries: Murder at Moseby       (movie; linear premiere)
    (8 pm, Hallmark Mystery)

Jane goes undercover at her alma mater to help her college boyfriend
solve a crime he may have witnessed years ago during the annual Edgar
Allan Poe Festival. Stars Jodie Sweetin and Stephen Huszar. The third of
four "Jane Mysteries" titles; originally released on September 19, 2024,
on Hallmark Movies Now (now Hallmark+).

It really shows how bad Hallmark has gotten/how far it has fallen that
it has the unappealing Sweetin headlining a movie series for them.

            Friday, May 9

        Streaming:

Summer of 69       (movie)        (12:01 am, Hulu)

dreams before it's too late. In talking to her only confidante, the
school mascot, Abby finds out Max's favorite sexual position is 69. In
an effort to go from 0 to 69, Abby makes the impulsive decision to
enlist the help from a local stripper named Santa Monica (Chloe
Fineman). However, she realizes true self-discovery and lasting
friendship are more valuable. 1h 40m.

    Hmmmm....

Love Hurt       (movie; streaming premiere)        (3:01 am, Peacock)

partner-in-crime resurfaces with an ominous message. With his crime-lord
brother also on his trail, he must confront his past and the history he
    never fully buried. 1h 23m.

I think Arthur saw this, and didn't like it?

It doesn't sound like my kind of thing.

The Ugly Stepsister [Den stygge stesøsteren]     (movie)         (3:01

captivate the prince, amidst a ruthless competition for physical
    perfection. Norweigian film; 1h 49m

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29344903/
    [rating 7.3]

IMDb doesn't even rate this as "horror" - Why is it on Shudder?!!

So no one will watch it

        Broadcast and cable:

The Baby My Husband Lied About      (movie)        (8 pm, LMN) >>

Anim'll hate this. But at least it frees me from having to watch
    Lifetime on Saturday night!...

    I can’t get UP.

Tracker         (season 2 finale; renewed for season 3)         (8 pm, CBS)

    Bah!

When Hope Calls       (season 2 finale)          (8 pm, Great American
    Family)

And how many episodes was "season #2"?! Was it even 8?!!

The Judd Family: Truth Be Told (episode 3: "Love Can Build a Bridge")

The Judd Family: Truth Be Told (episode 4: "Child of the Light")
    (documentary)         (9 pm, Lifetime Channel)

Cool - no Lifetime this Sunday either! Means I won't need to add to my
    DVR backlog!!

Watson        (season 1 finale; renewed for season 2)        (9 pm, CBS)

Wow! This got renewed!?! I was not expecting that!

Tonight out of the blue the DVR asked me if I would like to see Watson
S01E01. I said OK and it did. I am now in the middle of S01E02. We’ll see
    how long it lasts.

    (end)

Boy, this was a bad week! Luckily, I don't have any time to watch
anything right now anyway, so it works to my benefit...
