What I wouldn't give to hear some of our California officials talk like
this (and I don't mean the accent!).

Christ that's one massively STOOPID reporter. Grand theft auto is a
property crime. Carjacking is a violent crime involving robbery, and
sometimes attempted murder or murder. That makes it a crime against a
person. A person has a common law right to self defense.

If a mother being carjacked has just strapped her baby in the back seat,
    then it's kidnapping.

The "progressive" media - which is about 90% of all media - don't care
about any of that. Their mission is to challenge the notion of property
because property is oppression and taking away someone's property is
just a case of the downtrodden trying to get their own share of the good
life. Since the thieves/carjackers don't have as much as others, they
must be discriminated against and the people with the nice things
"obviously" got it by discriminating against others so it's just natural justice that those with less expropriate from those with more.
