    I watched:

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES:
I watched a couple eps on Comet TV.

    KRAPOPOLIS:
"Krapocalypse". Tyrannis is is stuck in a time loop trying to save the city.
I am tired of time loop episodes but was amused that Shlub was different in every iteration. I was expecting that to be a Big Clue of some sort.

    LIFE, LIBERTY AND LEVIN:
    A "best of" clip show.

    KRAPOPOLIS:
"National Lampoon's The Odyssey!". The family takes a vacation to Storgos for Shlub's mother's birthday.

Just football. And the only game worth mentioning was the evening game of Atlanta vs. Washington which at least went to overtime - Washington’s win helps Tampa get into the playoffs.

    I watched:

Conan the Barbarian (4K disc) 1982 sword and sorcery movie which has
Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) escaping enslavement, falling in love, and battling Darth Vader all in the same movie. This was a new 4K set with
tons of new extras including new multiple cuts of the movie, multiple commentary tracks, and a new Dolby Atmos sound. Contemplate this on
the tree of woe, do you watch this new disc with a new commentary or
Dolby Atmos? It was a tough call, but I went for the extended cut
(longest option available) and the Dolby Atmos track.

Conan the Destroyer (4K disc) 1984 sword and sorcery sequel which finds
Conan being sent on a quest by Sarah Douglas to escort a princess
(Olivia d'Abo) to obtain a magic horn. Growing up as a kid this was my
Conan movie. I saw it so many times before I ever got around to seeing
the first. I don't think I even knew this was a sequel. The disc had
several new commentary tracks. I decided to watch with a Sarah Douglas commentary. She didn't talk much about the movie, but she did talk a
lot about her life and career which was more than enough to keep me
happy. Although when she did talk about the movie she and her commentary
track companions were generally making snarky comments about it, and
    that was good too.

Red Sonja (4K disc) 1985 sword and sorcery movie which stars Brigette
Nielsen as Red Sonja, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Conan, I mean
Kalidor. The two of them team up to go on a quest to stop an evil queen
from destroying the world. Unfortunately this disc doesn't have a
commentary track. It's directed by the same guy who directed "Conan the Destroyer." I briefly sampled about a minute of the Conan the Destroyer director's commentary and he mentioned he was one of the few directors
to ever survive making multiple movies for Dino De Laurentiis (who
produced this and the Conan movies). If I ever get around to rewatching
Conan the Destroyer with the director's commentary, hopefully he'll have
some good stories about making this movie too.

The Northman (4K disc) 2022 movie directed by Robert Eggers and starring
Alexander Skarsgård as a man, who when he was a boy saw his father
murdered and his mother (Nicole Kidman) taken. He escaped and vowed to
return as a man and get revenge and rescue his mother. I didn't enjoy
it as much as I did when I watched it before, but maybe I wasn't in the
    mood.

What If...? - (Disney+) "What If... the Watcher Disappeared?" - Some
other Fifth Dimensional beings (hey isn't that where Mxyzptlk lives?)
are fed up with the Watcher interfering so they decide to step in and
stop him. But a multiverse team of heroes he has helped in the past
notice and decide to attempt a rescue.

"What If... What If?" - In the sense shattering series finale, it's the multiverse heroes vs. the Watchers.

Which sets up the Exiles show, but leaves me wondering what about all
these powers the Exiles have? If they keep the powers then they have
to amp up the potential enemies. If they don't have the powers then
how will they keep jumping between universes.

People are guessing anywhere from a hernia to a muscle pull from
yesterday‘s physical therapy to an intestinal blockage to the world’s worst gas attack. I am hoping for the latter.

Had x-rays. Waiting for ultrasound. The best part of this happening in a
rehab facility is that they bring the machines to you and you don’t even
have to get out of bed.

Nibbled at breakfast. Skipped lunch. Skipped medications. Skipped

I've been, done that. Back when I was in high school I woke up with
this horrible pain in my side. My parents were worried enough they
took me to the hospital for X-rays which was a 30 minute drive. Turns
out it was just gas but a gas pain like I had never experienced before
or since. Much worse than when I had a kidney stone.

Had x-rays. Waiting for ultrasound. The best part of this happening in a >rehab facility is that they bring the machines to you and you don’t even >have to get out of bed.

That sounds like when I had my kidney stone but more painful. I could
only lay on one side and not for long. Can't believe I stuck with it
almost an entire week thinking that what ever it was it would go away.
Only ended up going into the hospital on Thanksgiving Day because I
tried to drive down to my family get together but could not make it
out of town. So I went to the hospital where they gave me some
intravenous fluids and something to help move the stone which got rid
of the pain, but not the stone.

Hope it turns out to be nothing or at least something that is easily

UGH. That’s the day I found out the hard way I had diverticulitis.

    because I
tried to drive down to my family get together but could not make it
out of town. So I went to the hospital where they gave me some
intravenous fluids and something to help move the stone which got rid
of the pain, but not the stone.

This is acting more and more like gas all the time.

You know maybe 30 years ago I was diagnosed as having kidney stones (I
think blood in the urine or something) and then nobody has said anything >since. Maybe I just passed them without noticing.

It happens if they are small enough. Mine wasn't small enough so they
had to use ultrasound (lythotrypsy (sp?)) to break it up. Since that
time I've passed other stones. Probably because I make sure to drink
plenty of water since then. I know when I'm passing a stone now
because it's small and sharp so I can feel it making it's way out when
I pee. Not pleasant but nothing like the pain of a kidney stone
blocking the kidneys from proper function.

Hope it turns out to be nothing or at least something that is easily

Still waiting for the results on the x-rays as well as the actual
ultrasound tests. But no one has told admission anything so there’s still >planning on me leaving between 12 noon and 1 PM tomorrow.

I'm surprised they are taking so long. Unless they have to call
someone in to look at the scans. I can imagine many doctors don't want
to show up on New Years Eve.

It happens if they are small enough. Mine wasn't small enough so they

What they wanted to do to me was new and there was only one place that did
it and it was a truck that went around to different hospital parking lots
and you got in a bathtub and gave them $10,000 and they took a shot at
breaking it up with no guarantee it would work. I passed. Apparently so did everything else.

    break it up. Since that

UGH. That’s the day I found out the hard way I had diverticulitis.

    because I
tried to drive down to my family get together but could not make it
out of town. So I went to the hospital where they gave me some
intravenous fluids and something to help move the stone which got rid
of the pain, but not the stone.

minutes to create the ultrasound waves that broke up the stone. All

    break it up. Since that
time I've passed other stones. Probably because I make sure to drink
plenty of water since then. I know when I'm passing a stone now
because it's small and sharp so I can feel it making it's way out when
I pee. Not pleasant but nothing like the pain of a kidney stone
blocking the kidneys from proper function.

Hope it turns out to be nothing or at least something that is easily
treated so you can be home for the New Year.

    I was so close…

    Missed it by that much.

Still waiting for the results on the x-rays as well as the actual
ultrasound tests. But no one has told admission anything so there’s still >>> planning on me leaving between 12 noon and 1 PM tomorrow.

I'm surprised they are taking so long. Unless they have to call
someone in to look at the scans. I can imagine many doctors don't want
to show up on New Years Eve.

Well, it’s three in the morning and they never did do the ultrasound and >whatever the pain was seems to be gone.

Sorry that they didn't do the follow up but hurray for the pain going
away. Hopefully that means you are better and will go home today.
What a great way to start the New Year.

Yes, I was wide awake. No pain at all, just an odd sensation as though
someone was slowly moving around those marbles in that leather pouch.
Clearly it didn't need much in the way of handling so I assume the
high price was to cover the cost of the machine and a nice bonus for
    the hospital.

Hmm, I don't see why. There is no invasive surgery so no need for you
to be knocked out. They did give me some sort of anesthesia but it
didn't knock me out or even have a big effect. Perhaps if the stone
were in a more painful place it be necessary to knock someone out.
Though at that point I wonder why they wouldn't just do the invasive
surgery. They already had to do it for particularly large individuals
and the technology has to have greatly improved over the decades since
    I got my treatment.
