I tend to agree with you though I really liked her in Black Swan and V
is for Vendetta both of which were at least credible. (Though not in
The Other Boleyn Girl - I even thought of her when in 2016 we visited
the Tower of London chapel where the real Anne Boleyn and her cousin Katherine Howard were buried after their executions close by inside
the Tower grounds)
There’s a story she tells about herself and V for Vendetta that’s one of the big reasons I dislike her so.
Apparently, she came back to New York after filming and still had her head shaved or something (if I’m thinking of the right movie). Also, while she
was out of the country, her car’s tags expired.
So she’s driving around with her shaved head and her expired tags and the cops pulled her over. And she goes on a huge tantrum about how this is
racism because of her shaved head. I can’t believe how stupid you’d have to be to think that bald is racist. I can’t believe how stupid you’d have to be to not think the cops might pull you over for an expired tag. Hell I’ve been pulled over for missing tags (in high school used to pull them off as
a prank). And I am a pasty white guy.
And finally, I can’t believe how stupid you’d have to be to tell the story to a reporter!
