A source tells me an emergency meeting is being called by Skydance regarding Star Trek. Apparently Skydance wants to know why the hell Paramount is greenlighting more fake Star Trek garbage that nobody wants from Secret Hideout, especially given all the money Skydance is putting out to save Paramount from themselves! Here's why it's an emergency meeting, and what
they reportedly want the outcome to be! #startrek #paramountplus #fail

Robin posted a couple of articles about Paramount going out of business and amongst the long list of shows I’ve never watched that they’re shutting down there wasn’t a word about Trek.

From what I saw, it's too late to do anything about "Section 31" but they are putting a lot of effort into stopping filming for Space Acedemy League. As
they explained it, it is very diffiucult to stop production once filming
begins and the latter is about to start filnming.

Star Trek is all made by CBS Studios not Paramount Studios. There might be
some fallout yet from taking in the stable of Paramount Studios shows under
the CBS umbrella but as far as I can tell Star Trek is still deciding its
own direction, and given the talent they’ve pulled in for Starfleet Academy while the Paramount sale and Skydance deal were in negotiation, it feels
like discussion about shutting it down before season 1 is produced is just wishful thinking.
