A rumor surfaced several days ago that Kurtzman had been fired from Star Trek by Paramount and Skydance. At the time none of us could confirm this rumor, which originated on a small website no one had ever heard of, discovered by Midnight's Edge, but now I have a mountain of rumors about what's happening behind the scenes at Paramount/Skydance in regards to Star Trek, and the alleged status of Alex Kurtzman. He deserves to be fired, but I don't want him to be fired because he
screwed up Star Trek so badly it can't be saved and I don't want him to
hurt another property. He's in theory attached to Larry Niven RINGWORLD,
and if they deservedly kick him off Trek he'll actually have room to spoil >that.

With very few exceptions, I can't watch this anymore, myself. I do like
the Lower Decks though, even though I am not a fan of some of the humour within. The vibe and look at least resemble what I like.
