Variety magazine says Daily Wire podcaster Matt Walsh is a ôhypocriteö for daring to submit his hit documentary ôAm I Racist?,ö the top-grossing documentary in a decade, for Academy Award consideration.

million at the box office, was nothing but an example of ôalt-right commentatorsö making it their ômission to ridicule the entertainment

The Variety contributor downplayed the significance of ôAm I Racist?ö performing well at the box office, citing Marvel movies as examples of why films that do well financially shouldnÆt necessarily win or even be
considered for awards.

Walsh announced on October 29 that the film had officially been submitted for Academy Award consideration.

The film ôAm I Racist?ö featured Walsh going undercover in the world of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to expose the grift of the race
hustlers profiting off peopleÆs emotions through deception. It has a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes with more than 2,500 verified reviews. Despite the overwhelming popularity of the movie, mainstream critics have largely ignored it.
