They are official BBC uploads and therfore are legal ... but the videos
are country restricted, so only available to Americans (or those using >American proxy / VPN servers).

In the age of various streaming services as well as commercial
media such as Blu-rays, not having access to a television
series or film might seem like a problem that only existed in
the Dark Ages, or at the very least the Nineties (same
difference). For Doctor Who fans outside the UK in those times,
finding an outlet for your fix of what is now considered
'classic' Doctor Who could be difficult if not outright
impossible.
As a kid, I had to beg for cheap VHS tapes to record the latest
season or at least part of it when it came out about a year
behind the UK broadcast on my local PBS station.
Sadly for some, in modern times, it still is difficult.
Here in the States, all the classic episodes are on BritBox,
the new series before the partnership with Disney is on HBO/Max,
and the latest episodes are on Disney+.
So that means three paid subscriptions to watch the entirety of
one show, albeit a show that has been 'on TV' for nearly 46
years!
It seems the BBC has heard our cries and has been uploading
full episodes of classic serials to the Doctor Who Classic
channel on YouTube:
"Welcome to the Doctor Who Classic channel!
Travel in the TARDIS with full episodes dating
back to the Doctor's first incarnation.
See the Doctor meet the Daleks and the Cybermen
for the first time, watch all of their
regenerations and relive friendships with
companions like Sarah Jane Smith, Ace and many
more!"
Note: Some episodes have also been uploaded to the main Doctor
Who channel.
At the time of writing, there are more than 10 episodes on the
channel, but it seems one additional story is being uploaded
daily. Of those available now, some, like Genesis of the Daleks,
The Sea Devils, and Day of the Daleks, are considered some of
the best the classic run of Doctor Who has to offer.
It's a great start for those curious about older Doctor Who. All
of these adventures are shown in the episodic format they were
originally broadcast in, but all in one long video segregated
into 'tracks' for each episode of the serial. This channel was
previously used when the BBC divided its YouTube Doctor Who
footprint between classic and new series content before moving
it all onto the Official Doctor Who channel.
You can find most of the currently uploaded episodes on the
Doctor Who Classic YouTube channel here, but I have made a
public playlist with all the full episodes currently available
through YouTube including those placed on the main channel,
which you can view here (and if you want to subscribe to my
channel while you're there, I won't complain).

series and to let people see the stories that drove multiple
generations of kids and adults alike to become Doctor Who fans.

I just checked the "Doctor Who: Classic" YouTube channel out
with my VPN, there's some good stories on there for our American
friends to access proper Doctor Who, FREE! (Thirteen full
stories in fact.)
It's good to see the Third Doctor well represented with five
classic stories... I wonder how the black and white stories from
the 1960's will fare for 'views' compared to the colour episodes
from the 1970's/80's?
I hope that YouTube channel is a success for the BBC.
(The UK of course, has all of those Doctor Who episodes free on
the BBC iPlayer anyway.)

Why so dismissive? It's full Doctor Who episodes, available

Is negativity your only public characteristic?

Yes, but at a guess, I'd say more people have heard of YouTube.

For me, the BBC putting full Doctor Who stories up on YouTube is
a good thing. You don't have to watch them, you can stick to
Pluto TV if that's what floats your boat.

free.
Tubi and PlutoTV are good enough.
I'm well used to that! Even at Blueshirt Towers my opinion
counts for nothing... so why would RADW be any different?
only the opinion of Gobble-de-gook counts for anything!!
Mr NotKnow lives in the past, he can't get his head around
change so he sticks to what he knows! If that's what make him
happy, good for him.
Lying BlueShirt for you.
Makybe Idreland does not get Tubi nor PlutoTv.
Oh look the mental midget named binky still can't spell my nym, but wow
is he proud to use free streaming services.
I guess that's what happens when his allowance is large enough for a
real streaming service.
.... and doesn't he mention that he went to Uni, somewhere, sometime??
How did he get into Uni (let alone out of it) with such atrocious spelling??

Yes, but at a guess, I'd say more people have heard of
YouTube.
As a Doctor Who fan you should still be pleased to see
Doctor Who episodes being made available to people for
free.

It's easy to get into university, unless it's one of the big ones or a
major degree (such as medicine). For most universities you simply sign
up for a course and pay your fee. It's only for the bigger ones or
important courses where you have to apply, be accepted, etc.
Then of course there are the sports "stars" who get into university
simply because they are wanted on a university's sports team. Some of
them can't even read or write at all because they've simply gotten by
on their skill at chasing a silly ball around a field. :-\

Liar! That’s not what you posted!
Liar! There’s no such person as Makybe Idreland!
Oi! Bird!
Oi! Liar!
Spinning out of control Birdie?
Yes, your lies are spinning out of control.
But you didn’t need to ask me that. You must be able to see it
for yourself!

Hmm! Gobble-de-gook was born a Pommie, wasn't he?? Then his family moved
to Canada. Might it have been easier to get into a Canadian Uni than one
back in the ol'Dart??
