(You know how 'they' say "Everybody knows Everybody if you allow six
degrees of Separation!!)
Tonight I'm watching the Will Smith Film "I, Robot" .... and, at the
start, when Smith answers his Front Door, there is a Delivery Robot
there, and the Robot has the number '42' on its forehead.
'42' was the answer to The Ultimate Question in the Series of Books/T.V. >Series "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" which was written by
Douglas Adams .... who also did some writing for "Doctor Who".
So what's that, two degrees of Separation between 'Doctor Who' and 'I, >Robot'.

The Tom Baker story "The Robots of Death" was based on Isaac Asimov's
Robot novels and even mentions his laws of robotics. Therefore you only
need 1 degree of separation.
My local MP knows Keir Starmer and Keir Starmer congratulated Donald
Trump after he was elected US president for the second time.
Keir Starmer showed himself to be a despotic dictator from the day he
was elected by sacking 6 MPs who opposed him taking pensioners winter
fuel payments away so that they could die for pneumonia meaning he
wouldn't have to pay them their pensions for much longer.
Another despotic dictator was Adolf Hitler and through Keir Starmer
Donald Trump is linked to Adolf Hitler.
Maybe Kamala Harris should have thought of that before making false >accusations against Donald Trump.
By accepting Labour campaigner interference in the US presidential

Isn't that something to do with the fear of robots and AI?
Are you saying Kamala Harris is a puppet like most people think she is,
and therefore a robot, and that's why she lost the election to Donald
Trump because of Grimwade syndrome?

That would at least give him a chance to repair that large
chasm in his logic: If there has been no new Doctor Who on TV
since 2017, then what is he watching and complaining about?
The Doctor wrote:

As I have already pointed out, if RTD was to retcon the
'Timeless Child' arc in S2/15 it would not make one bit of a
difference to the people who dislike Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th
Doctor, and it would not change any of his story-lines going
forward.
Spending too much time on past events is a waste of time for a
show that is trying to move forward in a challenging
environment. The 13th Doctor has gone... it's time to let the
15th Doctor show what he can do without worrying about the
baggage left over from a previous incarnation.

I don't know what Donald Trump did or didn't do in regards to
exactly why so many people in the USA voted for him. But I saw
on CNN that Trump increased his vote by a couple of million from
2020 (when he lost), which was in turn an increase of his vote
from 2016 (when he won). So whatever way you cut the pie, to
convince THAT many people to vote for you in three different
Presidential elections - despite being a convicted felon and
demonised from all and sundry 24/7 - does mean people outside
the US can't just wave this result away with the brush of a hand.
Their must be something 'going on' among the USA populace for
normal people to follow Donald Trump and believe in his MAGA
campaign.
Unless Elon Musk has been sending down [Vote Trump-MAGA]
brain-washing beams from his Starlink satellites directly in to
voters heads of course...

Brainless idiots is probably a bit harsh, I accepted the fact
years ago when I lived in New York that American people didn't
seem to think like me, and I found them all to be on a different
planet with their ways, likes/dislikes etc, so as a European I
just let it go as an American thing. They're different. <shrug>
So as I said in another post, something has happened among the
US populace for them to prefer a candidate like Donald Trump to
Kamala Harris... I always thought that Joe Biden only got in to
power in 2020 as he was the lesser of two evils, he gained from
the anti-Trump vote... but that didn't seem to work this time.
We can all speculate but who knows exactly why?
What I do know is, as a planet we've some interesting times ahead
of us...

By having big mouths and getting other people to do all the real work.
Trump the Chump and Robot F'n Kennedy also inherited most of their
money and positions from their family.
Plus having piles of money does not actually mean you have a braincell.
In fact, it's the exact opposite, judging by all the over-paid morons
in management ... the more money you have, the bigger moron you are
tends to be a truism.
Robot F'n Kennedy is not a "health lawyer" ... he's a looney
anti-vaccination idiot. Now that he'll be charge of the US health
system, it's going to quickly go even further down the toilet if the
people in the background with relatively more braincelss and actual
power don't keep blocking his idiotic ideas.

Stop with the nonsensical word salad and obfuscation.
Did he or did he not take away the winter fuel payments from old age
pensioners?
Regardless of whether it was 6 or 7 MPs that he sacked and what it was
for, or who else carried out similar actions the past, Starmer proved
himself to be a tyrant and a despot. By this action he used threats,
blackmail, fear and intimidation in order to control the votes of
elected members of parliament. These are the actions of a dictator.
Starmer took away pensioners' winter fuel payments knowing that without
them they would be more likely to die of the cold and therefore he would
not have to keep paying their pensions. Then after that he decided to
wreak more vengeance on the people that voted for him and those who did
not by putting up taxes to the tune of £40 billion, in the biggest cash
grab in history, despite being warned by experts that this would destroy
the economy, cause businesses to go bust or leave the country, and force
people to lose their jobs.
Starmer just as George Orwell predicted in "1984" also tried to redefine
the term "working people" so that it could only have one precise meaning
that could not be used to argue against his English Socialist party's,
(Ingsoc in newspeak, Scottish Labour being Scotsoc) ideology.
A working person is no longer someone who works for a living but someone
who receives a monthly pay check but has no savings over a tenner in the
bank to pay for an emergency, does not have any property, and does not
own any shares. This basically means that almost no one in the country
who is not homeless and destitute is a working person, even if they have
a job.
Keir Starmer is a socialist dictator just like Adolf Hitler, Benito
Mussolini, and Joseph Stalin. And don't deny that any of these were
socialists. George Orwell wrote Animal Farm and 1984 to warn people of
the dangers of socialism, basing Ingsoc on the Nazis or National
Socialist German Worker's Party, and Keir Starmer has proven his warning
to be true.
Oh, look. Aggy’s shifted his goalposts from “Starmer sacked six
MPs in order to cut winter fuel payments,” to “Starmer cut winter
fuel payments in order to meet Orwell’s definition of a socialist.”
And, of course he was wrong both times. What a surprise!

Wow, even by Aggie’s standards that’s an insane rant, and full of lies and
errors.
There might have been some minor errors but there were no lies. Are you >trying to tell me that calling Adolf Hitler a despotic dictator is a lie?
I’m no fan of Kier Starmer but the seven (not 6) MPs who were suspended
(not sacked) from the Labour Party for 6 months were penalised for ignoring >> the whip on not removing the 2 child cap on child benefit (not the winter
fuel allowance). That’s a common thing for British parliamentary parties to
do, it’s a yellow card for not toeing the party line. If the 7 had
abstained in the voting (like 42 other Labour members) rather than opposing >> the government, they would not have been subject to the discipline.
It’s a rather odd sort of punishment - all it means is that the MPs have to
be treated as independent members and aren’t officially part of the
Governing party for the duration.
Boris Johnson suspended 21 MPs for voting against the Government on an EU
motion in 2019. The Tory government since the 2019 general election
withdrew the whip permanently from 18 members in 2020-2023, with the result >> that independent ex-Tories outnumbered the Lib Dems as the fourth largest
“bloc” in Parliament in 2023-2024.
So accusing Starmer of being a despotic dictator is a lunatic stretch to
begin with. As for the rest -Christ on a crutch. There are no words.
Stop with the nonsensical word salad and obfuscation.
Did he or did he not take away the winter fuel payments from old age >pensioners?
Regardless of whether it was 6 or 7 MPs that he sacked and what it was
for, or who else carried out similar actions the past, Starmer proved
himself to be a tyrant and a despot. By this action he used threats, >blackmail, fear and intimidation in order to control the votes of
elected members of parliament. These are the actions of a dictator.
Starmer took away pensioners' winter fuel payments knowing that without
them they would be more likely to die of the cold and therefore he would
not have to keep paying their pensions. Then after that he decided to
wreak more vengeance on the people that voted for him and those who did

They are all components of Ingsoc.

I’m no fan of Kier Starmer but the seven (not 6) MPs who
were suspended (not sacked) from the Labour Party for 6
months were penalised for ignoring the whip on not removing
the 2 child cap on child benefit (not the winter fuel
allowance). That’s a common thing for British parliamentary
parties to do, it’s a yellow card for not toeing the party
line. If the 7 had abstained in the voting (like 42 other
Labour members) rather than opposing the government, they
would not have been subject to the discipline. It’s a
rather odd sort of punishment - all it means is that the MPs
have to be treated as independent members and aren’t
officially part of the Governing party for the duration.
Boris Johnson suspended 21 MPs for voting against the
Government on an EU motion in 2019. The Tory government
since the 2019 general election withdrew the whip
permanently from 18 members in 2020-2023, with the result
that independent ex-Tories outnumbered the Lib Dems as the
fourth largest “bloc” in Parliament in 2023-2024. >>
So accusing Starmer of being a despotic dictator is a
lunatic stretch to begin with. As for the rest -Christ on a
crutch. There are no words.
Stop with the nonsensical word salad and obfuscation.
Did he or did he not take away the winter fuel payments from
old age pensioners?
Regardless of whether it was 6 or 7 MPs that he sacked and
what it was for, or who else carried out similar actions the
past, Starmer proved himself to be a tyrant and a despot. By
this action he used threats, blackmail, fear and
intimidation in order to control the votes of elected
members of parliament. These are the actions of a dictator.
Starmer took away pensioners' winter fuel payments knowing
that without them they would be more likely to die of the
cold and therefore he would not have to keep paying their
pensions. Then after that he decided to wreak more vengeance
on the people that voted for him and those who did not by
putting up taxes to the tune of £40 billion, in the biggest
cash grab in history, despite being warned by experts that
this would destroy the economy, cause businesses to go bust
or leave the country, and force people to lose their jobs.
Starmer just as George Orwell predicted in "1984" also tried
to redefine the term "working people" so that it could only
have one precise meaning that could not be used to argue
against his English Socialist party's, (Ingsoc in newspeak,
Scottish Labour being Scotsoc) ideology.
A working person is no longer someone who works for a living
but someone who receives a monthly pay check but has no
savings over a tenner in the bank to pay for an emergency,
does not have any property, and does not own any shares.
This basically means that almost no one in the country who
is not homeless and destitute is a working person, even if
they have a job.
Keir Starmer is a socialist dictator just like Adolf Hitler,
Benito Mussolini, and Joseph Stalin. And don't deny that any
of these were socialists. George Orwell wrote Animal Farm
and 1984 to warn people of the dangers of socialism, basing
Ingsoc on the Nazis or National Socialist German Worker's
Party, and Keir Starmer has proven his warning to be true.

from “Starmer sacked six MPs in order to cut winter fuel

With Doctor Who I don't have an agenda, beyond being a Doctor
Who fan that generally enjoys the show and wants to see it
succeed. The way some fans go on it's like they want to see a
show they profess to like be cancelled just because it doesn't
fit their idea of how the show should be made, which seems like
a silly point of view for a "fan" to take to me.
For me, as a Doctor Who fan since 1972, I try my best to enjoy
the show and I am happy to discuss it's flaws as well as its
good moments. I certainly have never claimed it was perfect!
What I don't do is bring political points of view in to
fictional television shows... as if I did I wouldn't watch
anything that passes as modern TV! If you want to take your
political angst out somewhere, go find a politics newsgroup or
run for Parliament.
A female Doctor is no problem per se, beyond the fact some of
her stories were poorly conceived and realised. Whilst a black
Doctor is no problem beyond the fact he seems to be written as a
cry baby that gets emotional at the drop of a hat. Personally
that's not what I want from Doctor Who. But in 2024 I also know
that the show isn't made for my demographic. So my choice is to
watch or switch-off... I choose to watch.
I also don't blame Jodie Whittaker or Ncuti Gatwa for the
scripts they have been given, or the budgets the show has.
I do however blame Sylvester McCoy for his era as if there's one
thing I just can't tolerate in life is Scottish people that roll
their rrr's and play the spoons!
Your problem is you can't discuss Doctor Who like an adult and
tell us what you do like about the show without throwing insults
around and calling everything "woke garbage" because you
personally don't like it. That's the same as the people that
call anyone that doesn't agree with them a fascist. It gets
boring after the hundredth time of hearing it!

You are wrong, often. As now you are going on about Kier Starmer
to a dude in Ireland that couldn't give a fuck about Kier
Starmer or Kamala Harris! Only in your mind does anyone really
care about them here! This is a Doctor Who newsgroup, remember...

twenty people reading it. In the real world nobody even knows
what RADW is or cares what anyone says here! You're the only one
that thinks this place takes you seriously. When Dave Yadallee

wouldn't watch it.

Dave, whether there's twenty people here, twenty-five people,
fifty people or just ten... the fact is RADW is a Mickey Mouse
area of the internet inhabited by die-hard fans of a British TV
show where anything we say matters not one iota in the big

If you stopped one hundred people on the street and asked them

extremely lucky you would probably just get 100 looks of puzzled >bewilderment. RADW is irrelevant in fandom these days, our glory

By having big mouths and getting other people to do all the real

To be fair though, Trump LOST the Family fortune .... and then

Aggy likes Dave because Dave agrees with Aggy. In Aggy’s world only people >who agree with him are educated or intelligent, which unfortunately makes >Dave about the brightest and smartest person Aggy knows.

For me, as a Doctor Who fan since 1972, I try my best to enjoy

that's not what I want from Doctor Who. But in 2024 I also know
that the show isn't made for my demographic. So my choice is to

I also don't blame Jodie Whittaker or Ncuti Gatwa for the

Trump didn't fool anyone. He was clearly the best and most
competent candidate and was voted for by the majority of
Americans. His victory was too big to rig. Kamala Harris
showed herself to be a person of extremely low intelligence
and would have destroyed the entire country.

of the USA …
Did Trump fool the people or did they fool themselves?!
Trump didn't fool anyone. He was clearly the best and most
competent candidate and was voted for by the majority of
Americans. His victory was too big to rig. Kamala Harris
showed herself to be a person of extremely low intelligence
and would have destroyed the entire country.
Kamala Harris seemed to be as likeable as haemorrhoids...
I think the next few years will be very interesting... Trump,
Musk and RFK Jr - that's some team!
The richest man in the world and the son of RFK
Boom, and bang!
I'd say there will be a big demand in sniper rifles over
there... one of them is surely going to get shot before 2029.
And who do you have to blame for that? Kamala Harris and her
outright lies and misinformation about Donald Trump and the
degenerate far left woke media that controls her. The same
Democrat owned or supporting publications the instituted race
riots and public lynchings 100 years ago.
I don't blame anyone, as I don't really care about US
politics... and I even lived in NYC for a while. But I suppose
the senile old fella that could hardly walk or talk not standing
down sooner probably played a large part in it.
I find the Trump thing interesting. Whatever way you look at it
getting 75 million people to vote for you is no mean feat. So I
don't denigrate Trump at all. That's democracy.

Trump spoke to people as equals. Harris spoke as if she was superior to >everyone she addressed unless they thought exactly the same way as she

Oh really. If 15 million people didn't vote for Kamala then they
obviously wanted Trump to win or didn't care so you have sent your own
stupid argument up in flames. Those with high IQ voted for Donald Trump. >Kamala Harris only appealed or wanted to appeal to those with the brains
