Snakedance: A Solid Sequel
Snakedance is a significant improvement over its predecessor, Kinda.
While not a classic, it offers a more traditional Doctor Who adventure
with a touch of psychological intrigue.
The story benefits from a stronger plot and better-defined characters.
The return of the Mara adds a familiar element, while the introduction
of new characters like Lon provides fresh dynamics. The visuals,
particularly the Mara's cave, are impressive for the time.
However, the story does suffer from some pacing issues and predictable
plot developments. The resolution feels somewhat rushed and anticlimactic.
Overall, Snakedance is a solid entry in the Davison era, offering a decent balance of adventure and character development.
