Possibly. If it's the episode I think you're talking about, then it is
the end that season (they are only short "seasons"), but there's
already another season after that with another phone call, plus season
5 is being made for 2025.

Yeah, early on a woman seems to be chatting him up (on a 'date' in a
restaurant) and he seemed to be a career Batchelor .... but, then
later, he's got a dead wife.

    I missed the swap-over!

Tonight's episode of "Grace" finished with 'The Master' John Simm
getting a 'phone call from one of his Cop mates who thinks 'they' may
    have found his Wife ALIVE.

Could this be the end of the season??

Possibly. If it's the episode I think you're talking about, then it is
the end that season (they are only short "seasons"), but there's
already another season after that with another phone call, plus season
5 is being made for 2025.

    Hopefully S5 it is!

Grace has a wife who went missing a couple of years before the first
episode, and is now presumed dead. At one point he was suspected of
murdering her (with the investigators even digging up his back garden
looking for the body). But it's all just a side-story that is barely
mentioned, so should really simply not have been put in at all. It
feels like an unnecessary token to appease people who like long story
    arcs.

getting a 'phone call from one of his Cop mates who thinks 'they' may
    have found his Wife ALIVE.

Could this be the end of the season??

Possibly. If it's the episode I think you're talking about, then it is
the end that season (they are only short "seasons"), but there's already another season after that with another phone call, plus season 5 is
    being made for 2025.

Yeap, I'm going for EOS as, next week, in the equivalent timeslot, we
have "Karen Pirie S1 E: 1" whomever she might be!!

later, he's got a dead wife.

    I missed the swap-over!

Tonight's episode of "Grace" finished with 'The Master' John Simm
getting a 'phone call from one of his Cop mates who thinks 'they' may
    have found his Wife ALIVE.

Could this be the end of the season??

Possibly. If it's the episode I think you're talking about, then it is
the end that season (they are only short "seasons"), but there's already
another season after that with another phone call, plus season 5 is
    being made for 2025.

Yeap, I'm going for EOS as, next week, in the equivalent timeslot, we
have "Karen Pirie S1 E: 1" whomever she might be!!

"Grace" is an okay TV series, but it pointlessly keeps bringing up the >>>>> on-going storyline of his missing wife, especially since it is only
thrown in occasionally as an "oh, we forgeot to mention it" snippets, >>>>> usually at the end of each episode. The 90min episodes are also too
    long. One hour is enough.

Yeah, early on a woman seems to be chatting him up (on a 'date' in a
restaurant) and he seemed to be a career Batchelor .... but, then
later, he's got a dead wife.

It's a UK police detective show. Not too bad, but not great either,
just middle of the road. The actress looks like she's about 10, so is a
bit miscast as a police detective.
