which took place on July 27, featured drag queens and transgender
individuals in a parody of Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper,' sparking widespread outrage.
C Spire expressed its disapproval in a post on X: "We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris
Olympics. C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics."
In the opening ceremony's portrayal of religious and historical figures
has drawn condemnation from religious leaders and politicians worldwide, labeling it as an 'anti-Christian' display.

Marion Maréchal, a conservative French politician and member of the
European Parliament, also voiced her discontent. She cautioned foreign spectators, stating that this divisive exhibition did not reflect the
views of the French people.
"To all the Christians of the world who are watching the Paris 2024
ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper,
know that it is not France that is speaking but a left-wing minority ready
for any provocation," she declared.
