but he called and said he wasn't riding because of the rain. As for your firm belief that somehow Oakland Airport weather is indicative of the rest of the east bay, it is not. The airport was built out into the bay for a reason that is beyond you. Land
compresses the atmosphere causing it to rain more than over the bay.

And rainy season doesn't even begin until February.

So many mistakes. So little time.

    1. There was very little rain in your area on Saturday afternoon.
0.02 in the previous 24 hrs. The storm didn't start until about 4AM
(next morning). Total so far was 0.14 in at Oakland airport.

    2. Oakland airport elevations is 9 ft MSL. Elevation at your house
is 56 ft MSL. There's no way that a 47 ft difference in elevation is
going to make any difference in rainfall.

    3. Your house is about 2 miles away from the Oakland airport. There
is no way that there is any difference in rainfall with that small a
    change in location.

    4. Having your alleged riding partner not want to ride in 0.02 in
rain is a rather convenient excuse. Blaming someone else for your bad decisions is not acceptable practice.

    5. Land does not compress the atmosphere causing it to rain more over
the bay. I don't want to waste my time explaining how the water cycle
works and how temperature, humidity, condensation, dew point, etc
    affect rainfall.

Why do you have to be so full of shit all of the time? It rained here ALL DAY Saturday with only a few breaks. It also rained a great deal of Subday. The sky cleared Sunday afternoon and then clouded over again before dusk.

It is the preference of Liebermann to tell me what it is like where I am at because where he is at is too depressing;.
