• Selling the last of my music business equipement

The 300 watt portable speaker/amplifier system has been sitting around
in a closet for eight years now and just went up for sale on the
internet. I'll be selling the speaker stands, the Shure SM58
microphone and cords, and the rest of the audio/video and karaoke
equipment as soon as I get them dusted off and photographed. It was
tons of fun, but I never made much money.

Oh, the bicycle reference is that had I focused on my business instead
of trying to do a 2 hour 40 mile bike ride, I might have made a few
    bucks.

    Soloman,

I am going to Tampa for about a week beginning May 21st. My son lives
there and it a new place pretty central area of Tampa. I want to take my
bike and ride but my son says that might hard. Of course not in the
city. I ask about going up and down the beaches on the coastline but he
said that has a lot of foot traffic.

I am use to taking off in Illinois and going out in country with little traffic. I can ride 50 miles and never unclip. I thought about maybe
then looking and driving inland more the east of tampa and riding. Do
you have any suggestion. Would like to ride say 30-40 plus miles without
    too much problem

    Congratulations on that.

Collecting musical equipment can be as cluttered as bicycle

I found a Tampa bicycle club but they don't seem to be 'going your way'. Intermediate rides are 10 miles, "long" rides 18 mi, each monthly (!).

So I checked at Campagnolo where there's only one Campagnolo Pro Shop
listed for the Tampa metro area. Ask them:

I routinely ride 50 miles on the Suncoast bike trail. A good place to
start is at the suncoast trailhead on State highway 54. The problem is
that you ride 20 feet off a limited access highway. Another bike trail
is the Withlacoochee state trail, starting on State Highway 50 near
Ridge Manor. If you want to cruise around on country roads I recommend
the Spring Lake area between Highway 41 and I75 south of State Highway
50 (98). Beautiful country and suprisingly, a few hills as you get
closer to I75. I rode that area a bit when I first got the Catrike.

It is very cool. Flat as a pancake and one gentle curve. You'll see
birds, gators, snakes, occasional deer, and possibly a bear. I always
started at a little town named Mabel on Highway 50, but you can start
at Polk City. The wildest, most remote area is closer to Mabel.
