    omg... TB just did an automatic Update, so that...

    THis space is now Gray.... (worse than before)

    And the central Pane is cluttered... and i have
    to delete the unwanted items for each Group... manually(?)

    If you're bothered by automatic updates, why not switch to
    Betterbird? It can use your Thunderbird profile, it doesn't do
    updates at all(*), and it doesn't nag the way Thunderbird does.

    (*) If you want to update Betterbird, you go to the site, download
    the installer, and run it. It overwrites the existing version on your
    PC.

    If you're bothered by automatic updates, why not switch to

    It is. But you need to keep in mind that the usage of TB/BB varies greatly, some
    people have two folders and 20 messages, others have mail back to 1999, 6000 folders and profiles with 20 GB or more. And the program also needs to work for the "non-light" users.
