• Stupid criminal in the news seems to be using an iPhone

From Marion@21:1/5 to All on Sat May 10 00:32:23 2025
Now we know two more published facts about the iPhone 13
    a. How 'beautiful' the iPhone 13 nighttime videos are, and,
    b. How dumb and senseless some iPhone owners are.

"In the clip, the sound of a chainsaw can be heard, and the silhouette of a person can be seen, before the trunk eventually tumbled.

The footage was shot on Graham's iPhone 13, with the metadata providing the coordinates of the tree."

You've obviously missed the bit saying the video has been "enhanced". It isn't what the raw footage looked like. https://news.sky.com/story/footage-of-alleged-moment-sycamore-gap-tree-was-felled-shown-to-jurors-in-trial-of-two-men-13358658

Agreed. Some people are dumb and some people are iphone owners and occasionally there's an overlap. Sometimes the walled garden lets undesirables in :^)

Because no criminals have EVER used an Android phone.

Of course not. They're too busy trying to find free, ad free, open source apps to solve imaginary problems. lol.

I had to laugh, appreciably so, at the good-natured way people took this
post, which I admit could have been an Android user.

I do look though, at some of the dumbest actions by criminals, to see what
kind of phone they used when that phone, almost alone, convicted them.

In *this* case, it was an iPhone 13 used by one of the two criminals.
We don't know what the other criminal used who did the chainsawing though.

Snyder said he initiated the stop and ended up detaining Mellish,
taking and later processing Mellish's red Apple iPhone for evidence."

I still don't know (yet) what phone Bryan Kohberger used. All I know is
that his carrier was AT&T & the phone is called the "8458 Phone" in court records that I've seen.

I'm compiling a list of dumb criminals with phones.
If you know of other dumb criminals with phones, let me know.

And only report it if you think it makes Apple look bad.
