    Hello,

Is there no add music option in iPhone's iOS v18.4.1's Photos app for
videos? Or do I not see it in my iPhone 12 mini?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

Do you mean creating a slideshow with music?? If so, select the photos you
want to be in the slideshow. There will be ... in the right hand corner.
Click on that and an option will be "play as a slideshow". Click on that
and it will start with music. Pause it and click on the music icon and you
can change the music to whatever you want.

No, adding music into my recorded videos.

Works the same way. First elect the video in photos. Three dots will appear
at the bottom. Select “play as slideshow”. Video will start to play with music. Pause the video and click the music icon and change the music to whatever you want.

The video would easily do a better job than any politician does. ;-)

Yep, through a feature called QuickTake which records device audio. Try
    it for yourself:

    1. Play some music.
    2. Open Camera. It should be set to take a Photo y default, which is
    what you want.
    3. Tap and hold the shutter button to start capturing.
    4. During capture, you can drag the shutter button to the lock icon on
the right to lock it and give your thumb a rest. Slide it back to unlock
    it.

I'm surprised nobody else has given you the nswer considering how many
times Arlen and badgolferman have told everyone they know so much more
than me or anyone else here. A quick three-word, 2-second web search for
"apple iphone quicktake" leads to Apple's fine manual:

If you want to add music after recording the video, then use a video
editor (like iMovie) like everyone else. 😉

No, I want to add music into the video file so I can send/upload to other people.

That is exactly what it does. It gives you the option to save it as a
memory file when you are done, which you can share with anyone you want.
I'm done here. I have, over time, tried to reply to your questions multiple times and nothing I have suggested ever works for you. I won't bother you again.

doesn't show that option when selected this short video clip. I see no music icon.
