I miss nospam. He was so dry and matter-of-fact that he made me laugh, much like the comedian Steven Wright.
I (think I) understand why you miss nospam, where I fully agree he was dry
and matter of fact, and better yet, of all the Apple trolls, he knew the
most about Apple products, particularly about the radios & protocols.
He and Steve would endlessly spar about such things, where even I had to
let it all pass by without delving too deeply into their discussions.
He knew so much that I suspected he worked for Apple at some point, but
then I discounted that because his excuses were not at all inventive.
Most of his excuses were so lame that I could tell his IQ wasn't up to par, although, I must say he was smarter than the rest of the Apple trolls.
But, of course, being smarter than, oh, say, 51, isn't saying anything.
Neither is saying someone is smarter than Jolly Roger or Lewis (his twin).
In summary, what I immensely disliked about nospam is he felt no need to
ever tell the truth about anything - and that is why I think he was a despicable person. It was as if Apple paid him to defend to the death.
However, what I liked about nospam is that he knew more about Apple
products than all the rest of the Apple trolls combined, did.
I miss that knowledge.
