What's interesting isn't so much the classic garbage-bin battery in the new iPhone SE, nor the slow-as-molasses screen refresh but the expected price.

As pitiful as the iPhone 16 batteries are in capacity, the iPhone 16 e fits
in the same anemic range as the rest of the iPhone 16 lineup.
*Comparing the iPhone 16e battery with the rest of the lineup*
    <https://9to5mac.com/2025/02/27/iphone-16e-battery-comparison/>

    iPhone 16: 3561 mAh
    iPhone 16 Plus: 4674 mAh
    iPhone 16 Pro: 3582 mAh
iPhone 16 Pro Max: 4685 mAh

    Versus:
    iPhone 16e: 3961 mAh

Can you believe that the Apple herd animals wait all night outside the
Apple stores to buy this pallid garbage at an inflated expensive price.

Given the EU won't allow Apple to sell any phone Apple can't certify lasts
500 charge cycles without dropping below 80%, it's no wonder Apple can no longer sell any iPhone older than the iPhone 15 in the EU later this year.

By way of contrast, my free ($200 MSRP) Galaxy A32-5G has a 5Ah battery.

Apple's new phone is bottom of the barrel on everything but price.
Who is so stupid as to buy this new Apple piece of garbage at that price?

What is "bottom of the barrel" about it?

And the article loses a lot of credibility when it says things like:

'The other change is to the connector. Every previous iPhone has sported
a lightning connector at the base of the smartphone.'

I'm sitting here beside my iPhone 16...

    ...with its USB-C port...

...just like the iPhone 15 that preceded it.

    :-)

It seems Forbes can't stop "promoting" the garbage-bin iPhone SE!

The whole article basically says "it's yet another Apple piece of shit" but then it pensively asks "can they ever get the high price they're asking?".

Time will tell... who wants that high-priced garbage-bin cheap iPhone...

Tim Cook is seemingly desperate to get people to care about this
garbage-bin Apple iPhone SE based on this report from Forbes today.

*Tim Cook teases a new Apple launch next week, and it's probably the iPhone SE*

It could also be that Apple MARKETING (brilliantly) feeds the media outlets with exactly what to say - much like Trump feeds Fox news what to say.

It's amazing how similar what Tim Cook does is to what Trump does.
Who wants a Goodwill quality iPhone with a battery from ten years ago?
