NDTV's Samiran Mishra on whether Donald Trump and JD Vance will trade
access to America's labor market to Narendra Modi's 1+B Indians in
return for American companies' access to Modi's consumer and military
markets: <URL:

| Trump's restrictive stance on immigration, especially the H-1B visa
| program, has historically impacted Indian professionals. His first
| administration attempted to increase wage requirements for foreign
| workers and impose additional restrictions, which created challenges
| for Indian IT professionals and technology firms. These measures, if
| reintroduced, could affect the Indian talent pool in the US and
| influence tech firms that rely on skilled Indian workers.
|
| "For Trump, I think there will be some difficult negotiations over
| trade and immigration, although on many other issues, he has spoken
| about a very positive relationship with India and Prime Minister
| Narendra Modi," Mr Jaishankar told news agency PTI.
Will Trump enlist Vance to serve as Deputy Chief Sales Critter for
Trump's bi-partisan, comprehensive, merit-based immigration reform
legislative legacy authored by the Cheap Labor Lobby and passed my Mike Johnson's House.GOV and John Cornyn (or John Thune (or Rick Scott's)) Senate.GOV and will Trump and/or Peter Thiel withdraw their support for
Vance 2028 should Vance refuse to surrender his right flank on the
National Question and does Susie Wiles consider Trump's merit-based
immigration plan political suicide?

"Meh. On immigration, *McSally* is the liberal hack. Flip flopped on
DREAMer amnesty & citizenship: FOR when she wasn't running for
Senate, AGAINST when she ran. FOR increasing H-2Bs. FOR weakening
interior enforcement. McCain in a skirt. #ConInc #OpenBordersInc
bread & circuses." - Michelle Malkin <URL:
