(KRON) ù More than 7,500 PG&E customers lost power in the South Bay on
Tuesday night, according to PG&EÆs outage map.
The outages are in the area of San JoseÆs Alum Rock neighborhood. They
were reported to PG&E at about 7:30 p.m.
PG&E is investigating the case of the outage.
According to PG&EÆs website, power is expected to be restored by 12:30
a.m. Wednesday.
There was a separate outage in the Bay Area on Tuesday morning when
thousands of PG&E customers in San Francisco lost power. An underground
cable was the root of this outage, which primarily affected the cityÆs
Presidio area. As many as 7,860 customers lost power.
