In addition to Tomas's suggestion, I just checked the armbian list of
supported SBC's, no mention of snapdragon .

It appears to be a Qualcomm product, probably proprietary and smart
phone targeted .  No  mentions for alternate OS's turned up in my
    limited searches.

I knew nothing about this subject, but a little search reveals that the
chip is a Qualcomm product intended for notebooks & laptops, and there
is a competing product from Lenovo as well as Asus. It uses the ARMv9 architecture. According to Debian documentation, ARMv8 hardware
appeared late in the Trixie development cycle, so it's not surprising
there is limited support for a more recent spec yet. I expect that in
the fullness of time, Debian will fully support products like this.

In the meantime, following Tomas' suggestion sounds very sensible to
keep up with the state of development.

    There's

    arch/arm64/boot/dts/qcom/x1e80100-asus-vivobook-s15.dts

in the Linux tree since Jul 2024, so there's support for it, starting
with linux-6.14. IIUC Debian is in the process of preparing for a new
release which will still use an older kernel, so if you need support for
that hardware you should either compile your own kernel or wait until
    after the next release.
