Hello,
I maintain pidgin-skype, which depend on telepathy-haze.
telepathy-haze has been removed from testing due to #1075560 so Pidgin-Skype is also removed.
It looks this package has not been updated since 2022.
What should I do?
I don't plan to fix Telepathy since I don't know it enough to do anything.
I thought to upload a new version within removing dependency to telepathy
but I am not sure it is reasonable to do so, that's why I would need some advice.
I don't think there are other options than waiting until someone fixes it, fixing it and dropping the dep. And usually only you as the maintainer
know whether it's reasonable to drop a specific dep. So the answer (not
really specific to these packages) is "up to you".
As more specific advice, telepathy-haze is clearly dead upstream, with the
last release in 2020 and no upstream commits after it, so I would drop it
if it's possible.
