Photos is free and allows you to organise your images however you want.

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, and I've only installed Bridge
and Photoshop.
I've never installed Lightroom because I don't like it, but I didn't know it also has an iPhone version,
so I'll install it and try it out.

Finder. Tag them, or any other file, with a name and color of your choosing.
