except the free games? It's one of those weird things I've noticed
whenever I go there (I need to visit the website to get the URL for
    the free game). Oh well.

They say 'Don't judge a book by its cover', but just
the title of this week's game lets you know tells you
all you need to know about without actually looking
at the game; that it is going to be one of those quirky
Indie games that you either will adore or have absolutely
no interest in. This one is a 2D fighting game (think
"Mortal Kombat") except with 'a cast of adorable animals'
and some light Final Fantasy-like exploration in between
bouts. Unfortunately, publisher shenanigans mean the story
mode (it was intended as an episodic game) won't ever be
completed, so most of the focus is on the brawling. I guess
if you like that sort of game, it's fine. But I'm not
    included in that group.
(Also, this was a freebie back in December 2022, so you
may already have this one in your library).

This is the bit where I put some conclusory remarks and remind
everybody this free offer is good for only seven days. So consider
both of those done. See you next week!

A boring fighting\brawling game that I already have in my library.
That is about as bad as a freebie can get for me. Thank you Epic.
    Thank you very much.

    See you next week Spalls!

I don't know why I bother to check. I should just believe him and move

I didn't read this thread before checking the web site. Hah.
