    MMO? I thought it was a single player offline game, or did it become >massive mulitplayer online simulator that I missed?

    It was a DLC to the main game. I think it was just a single over-sized
    map with bots representing other players and lite RPG elements (XP,
    classes, quests). AFAIK there was no real MMO infrastructure behind
    it; it was all a gimmick. But "Goat Simulator" itself is pretty much
    just a shallow gimmick to begin with.

    I briefly played its free weekend. It was amusing and then got old.

    I mean, I'm not going to disagree. But credit to the developers, they stretched the joke about as far as it could go; the MMO Simulator
    being just one example (they also did "Call of Duty", "PayDay" and a
    "No Man's Sky" homages). And as somebody who yearns for the industry
    to try new things, I'm hardly going to call out these developers for
    trying something new.

    That said, I've a lot less love for the sequel ("Goat Simulator 3";
    they skipped #2), for much the same reason. ;-)

    I wonder if young gamers play them a lot. Do these games even have mods and stuff?
