What newsreader, if I may ask? I'm using NewsTap on my iPhone these days

I use Thunderbird both for mail and for usenet. My account for
newsgroups is also through Eternal September.

I add another vote for Thunderbird as a newsreader (on both MacOS and Windows), and for
Eternal September as a news server.
I use Eternal September and my client is Emacs gnus. I haven't tried-------
using Thunderbird for usenet news. I use it for email, though.

Another happy Thunderbird user for both mail and news. ;-)
