Still Great - MX23.6ahs Revives Two Old Sub-Laptops

Had a couple of old Dell sub-laptops - look identical
but one has a slightly faster CPU. Had to get a new
batt for one because it got hot but never completely
charged - brand-name was found on Amazon.
In any case, hadn't used these for years. Made an
install stick of MX 23.6 AHS and can report a smooth
installation on both little machines. With Linux
they're still zippy enough to be generally useful.
Used the AHS version because I had to use it on another,
new, little box - the standard ver wouldn't boot quite
properly. Anyway, now I've three units running the same
MX version.
There's a REASON MX is almost always at the top of
the DistroWatch list - complete enough but still lean
enough run on older hardware. Good assortment of
handy tools provided by MX also, including a cloning
utility you can use on the running install.
