Partial solution to keywords not working in local Maildirs.

Hello dear alpiners,
Some times ago I wrote a message asking about how to get keywords to work
with local Maildir folders, and the answer was that this is not supported.
One way to solve it was to install a local imap server which supports
this.
I have now come up with a _partial_ solution. The idea is to use
X-headers. So imagine you want to assign the keyword "invoice" to an email
in your local Maildir folder.
You edit the file and add "X-category: invoice" somewhere in the emails
header.
After that I can then search in the headers, and the just specify that X-category should equal invoice. Works like a charm!
Now, the only two remaining tasks/questions are:
1. How can I script this from alpine? It would be nice to be able to add
that header from within alpine, and not have to do it manually via the terminal.
and
2. Does adding the customer X-category manually to my local emails risk breaking something? Could it create problems if I forward the message, or
would it increase the likelihood of being tagged as spam due to the custom X-header?
That's it for now. Have a nice day everyone!
Best regards,
Daniel
