• You Can Bring Back One-Tap 'Do Not Disturb' to Your Google Pixel

From Stan Brown@21:1/5 to All on Sat Apr 12 12:21:05 2025
I don't know how many people use this, but I do every night at
bedtime. (My starred contacts can ring through, but there's no sound
    for texts from anyone.)

"A recent update made it harder to toggle Do Not Disturb on your
Pixel--here's how to get it back. ... [You can] add a Do Not Disturb
button to the lock screen and access it from there ... by going to
your Pixel phone's Settings app and navigating to Display > Lock
screen > Shortcuts. Now select one of the shortcuts and pick Do Not
    Disturb to add it there.

I thank Stan for his purposefully helpful suggestion allowing people to put
a one-tap 'Do Not Disturb' 'shortcut' conveniently on their 'lock screen'.

To add value to what Stan kindly supplied, you can also easily create a
one-tap 'shortcut' on your 'desktop' to *any* Android 'public activity'.

Try this to create a one-tap 'desktop' shortcut to almost anything!
    1. Open up your Muntashirakon App Manager (the best app by far, on Android)
    2. Select any app on your system (e.g., Google Maps) & press "Activities"
    3. For any activity you want a shortcut to, just press "Create Activity"

This adds any 'public activity' to your homescreen, where you can move them into a shortcuts folder or a specific folder such as your mapping folders.
