I just cancelled my subscription to an independent newspaper here in

some old man at a gas station told him to "stay safe." The distributions submitting to such faggots seriously need to die.

Of course I had to look that up <https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/options-for-using-windows-11-with-mac-computers-with-apple-m1-m2-and-m3-chips-cd15fd62-9b34-4b78-b0bc-121baa3c568c>:

Windows 11 runs best on a PC designed for Windows. When such an
option isn't available, here are two different ways to use Windows
    with Mac.

The first method is “streaming” Windows 11 to a Mac running macOS.

The second method involves running Windows 11 virtually, under
Parallels Desktop, again under macOS. Even then, lots of things won’t
    work properly:

The Arm version of Windows 11 has limitations that can impact your
ability to use various types of hardware, games, and apps,
including those that rely on DirectX 12, a suite of multimedia
technologies frequently used in Windows games and other apps.

Neither one gets rid of the need for macOS. Neither one allows running
Windows 11 on bare ARM metal.

In other words, neither one offers the capabilities of Asahi Linux.

Were that I had any real credit left, I'd buy one, but no, I'm in debt,
and have to be satisfied with my Intel CPU desktop.

It's seat of the pants with no real benchmarks but my Raspberry Pi 5 with
the Debian Bookworm derived Raspberry Pi OS is reasonable. Compiling for
the Pico is speedy and VS Code is comparable to the other boxes.

So far the offerings are pricey and I don't have a compelling need for
another laptop. Battery life isn't too important to me.

The only obvious thing is that they don't want to tell you it's OK,

I don't even know what the jokes was but yesterday AOC was ranting on X
about the heinous insult to Puerto Ricans. Today Puerto Rico's shadow
    senator endorsed Trump. Go figure.

    a) Puerto Rico is indeed a mess of an island. I regularly listen to
"Dirty" Dutch Mantell who was a wrestler/booker in the territory in the
90s. He was the first to say that the people there were alarmingly
violent and that you could get any drug you wanted at any corner of the
place. He very much believed that chaos ruled both back then and today. Therefore, the label of "island of garbage" applies.

    b) However, the commentator at the rally said something along the lines
of "did you know that there is an island of literal garbage floating on
the ocean at the moment. It's called Puerto Rico." It was an obvious
joke and anything with an IQ higher than 60 would accept it as such.

    c) Stupid people (also known as progressives) purposefully misinterpret anything they see or hear to transform it into something else. Despite
it being a joke, they quoted him as saying it seriously and are doing
their best to attribute the comment to Trump, even though the man didn't
    say it.

    d) It is yet another desperate attempt to bring down Trump when their
latest attempt to attack him, a fake "Trump touched me thirty years ago"
    story, failed miserably.

People are under the impression that black people are cool because the

late 1980s. Don't underestimate the power of having images of black
people blasted at you repeatedly on television and in movies in
convincing you that hot steaming garbage has a pleasant smell.

Meanwhile, I get to see a majority of black people on a daily basis. If
the work is poorly done, it's a black kid. If they work isn't done at
all, it's a black kid. If there is constant noise in the room, it's
coming from a black kid. If there is a strong smell of body odour, it's
a black kid. If the student is unable to answer even the simplest of
questions in their own language, it's a black kid or a spic. These are

A lot of fish are pretty bland, and thus good candidates for breading

I told my kids what wearing their pants like that meant since they were
doing it. It's a symbol of the fact that you went to prison first
because they didn't allow you to have a belt while incarcerated, but
it's also an invitation to do as you please if you happen to be behind
the man. That last part discouraged them from wearing it like that in my

The sad part is that by doing so, you've put money into the system that

Carp, like suckers, whitefish, pickerel, and other species, have a lot of y-shaped intramuscular bones that don't lend themselves to filleting.

That's about pickerel, but the same apploes to carp. Before an old power
dam was removed we had an annual pickerel derby. The problem was the dam
acted as a catchment for all the heavy metals from Butte so very few
people woild eat them. Prior to removing the dam they dumped a few tons of rotenone in and killed everything. They definitely didn't want pickerel downstream; the pike are bad enough. Even now the fishing access sites
warn you not to eat what you catch too frequently and not to eat the pike

Six days for the Rothschilds to decide who they want in office. They're keeping the polls close so they can go either way. The momentum is clearly
on Trump's side, but I saw Obama talking to an agitated Biden (at a funeral) saying something like, "don't worry about it, we'll take care of it."

If the vote is fair at all, it's going to be a huge win for Trump. But it's really not up to the voters. It's up to those who control the "counting" of the votes.

They're trying to do a Ukrainian "maidan" in Georgia (the country) now. I don't think it's going to work, but even though the international observers said the vote was honest, it's "in dispute" because the Rothschild cabal didn't get their way. Funny that they don't use the term "election deniers" for those (like the Democrats here) who don't accept the outcome of the vote in other countries.

I'm getting the feeling that if they indeed proceed to steal the vote
again this time around, it'll be so obvious that there won't be a need
for lawsuits and investigations. Progressive stupids will no longer be
able to claim that it was fair because they will have been exposed and
they will have to admit that they cheated. I imagine that they will do
so with glee. Any self-respecting progressive will move over to the
other side and hopefully, the pure evil in society will be eliminated

The rubes in this part of Trump cuntry prefer large pickups. In fact the

I caught some brown trout in the mountains north of Weiser, Idaho. It
was mushy and tasteless. I was told that was because the streams there
were fairly warm and warm water trout aren't good eating. Those were the
last fish I caught. (I don't like to catch them if I'm not going to eat
them — and I definitely wasn't going to eat brown trout again.)

I got a Montana license one year a long time ago. I grew up fishing lakes
and ponds and don't have any running water skills. I don't think I caught anything. I'd heard there were bullheads in Ninepipes reservoir but when I found that was an additional charge for a reservation permit I passed.

I've caught one trout in my life and I shot it. I was out squirrel hunting
with a .22. No squirrels but on the way back to the car I crossed a bridge
over a little creek and saw the trout lazing around under the bridge.
    Straight down shot, no parallax.

I'm kind of mixed on salmon. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't.
Maybe the times I don't it's because it's coho salmon. (Fish is not a
big part of my diet, so I don't really keep up on these things.) I
remember when I was kid in Great Falls we used to sometimes buy fresh
smelt at Rosaur's Market. I thought they were pretty good. I don't think
I've those for a long time.

We used to have smelt regularly, fry them up whole. The last time I saw
frozen smelt in a market they were market as bait and I didn't have a good feeling.

Shad is another one I liked. When they were running you could buy a roe
shad, have the fish on Friday night and the roe with eggs Saturday
morning. Same genus, different species but what is called serviceberry in Montana was called shadbush because when it bloomed the shad were running.
