Black, white, yellow, red.. every people has engaged in slavery.
Though it is interesting to note that slavery got it's start in the
English colonies by a Black man going to court and demanding that
another Black man who owned him money become his chattel slave in
perpetuity. As until that court case, chattel slavery was illegal in
the British colonies.
However, in Rudy's case.. I'm sure he traces his roots to the
Democrat White Slave owners of the Deep South.... and to this day, he
hates that his ancestors gave up their slaves...
My family sold farming equipment, until they outlawed slavery.

I don't understand what the big deal with slavery was, from the sounds
of it, a lot of them were educated since so many of them had their
Masters.
Many of those masters were from Harvard, Yale, and Boston College.
