    Speaking of garbage, the movie Here deserves a mention.

    I hadn't heard of it and after reading the Wiki article that's just as
    well. That set off a side trip and I was surprised to find how few of
    Tom Hanks' movies I've seen considering how prolific he is.

    My habit is that if Tom Hanks is in it, it's probably a good movie.
    This one was unfortunate because the idea behind it was decent. The
    storylines within are the problem.

    The last Tom Hanks movie I saw was "Sully" (because my wife's father
    piloted his own plane and my wife wanted to see it). I've heard his
    voice in a couple Toy Stories and Cars movies but I think the last Tom
    Hanks movie I watched of my volition was "Catch Me If You Can." I hated
    "Cast Away," so I think that kind of turned me away from Tom Hanks'
    movies. I liked his earlier, comedy stuff, a couple of his romantic
    comedies (with Meg Ryan) and "Green Mile." Also "Joe Vs the Volcano."

    Yeah, well, Joe didn't run Linux. (I run joe(1) on Linux all the time,
    though, it is my editor of choice.)

    Speaking of Linux:

    $ tail linux-6.14.5/uname.out linux-6.15-rc5/uname.out
    linux-6.14.5/uname.out <==
    Linux lm 6.14.5 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 2 19:09:34 PDT 2025 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

    linux-6.15-rc5/uname.out <==
    Linux mintvirt 6.15.0-rc5 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 4 20:13:31 PDT 2025
    x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

    ObLinux:
    Compilation times for kernels are in the uname structure, and printed
    with "uname -a".

    ...and I swear the tagline below came up at random.
