GNU/Linux is an adventure like climbing Mount Everest or traveling
to the US Antarctica South Pole Station.
IOW, it is not for the digitally faint of heart.
Today, as part of my evaluation of cross compiling for my new machine,
I downloaded the Gentoo LiveUSB to see it was usable for my purposes.
The Gentoo LiveUSB boots to KDE Plasma. What a farce! What garbage!
Those KDE idiots are only attempting to duplicate the Microslop Winblows look and feel, and the result is pure junk.
Moreover the GCC was built with default PIE and default libssp and default hardening throughout. There's no way I will use that crap.
Moreover yet, the install, which is supposed to do everything for the user, could not even start the network, and I will not waste my time trying to find the reason. What junk!
Fuck this desktop shit! I will go back to climbing Mt. Everest and traveling to the south pole in my own manner.
GNU/Linux demands the adventurous spirit. Otherwise one will be stuck with this KDE/GNOME bullshit.
