What do you think? It all the bluster just a parlor game or something real, in actual existence? Lets say they exist and also consider that they may not exist... what does that mean for the world? What is really going on here?
There's a creepy old building in my city that was once occupied by the Freemasons, and it appears as if it's been vacant for decades, but it's located in a place where is makes no sense for this type of property to just sit vacantly for so long (it's a spot that would be ideal for an investor, but it's simply not for sale!)

As they recruit for various sub-groups from many segments of society and it may be that not all members/sub-groups are fully "in the know," the commonality is perhaps pretty simple - that the overall organization influences all of the sub-groups.
There are lots of references on Masonic terms, names and origins, so perhaps it is time to go primary in your research?
