Russian Infiltration Into Churches
----------
Religion has been referred to as the "Opium For The Masses" from the Russian government over time. Russia knows that if they can win over the people of faith, that they can win over multitudes of multitudes. There are many Russians with religious leanings. If Russia appears to be for the people in free expression of their religious practices they will have won over the masses. Russia has no love for their religious population, however they are very serious about joining such faiths for the purpose of intelligence collection and manipulation of church-going citizens. The long arm of Russian Intelligence regarding the religious community of the whole world can be felt in many Western nations. There are actually Pastors and Priests globally who answer to the SVR (Russian Foreign Intelligence). They can be detected by their zeal for the Russian perspective, almost sounding cartoonish in their very serious and profound dedication to the Russian political foreign policy and trust in the Russian leadership. They are very very for the Russian perspective on international public policy. Seriously though, it is almost easy to detect them, with such vigor in a very strong adherence to the Russian political line. They would say things such as, "Russia is more Christian than The West." Or something along the lines of, "do you not know how corrupt Ukraine is? They aren't the innocent party; Ukraine is actually Russian territory." These folks are rather bonkers in my opinion, but one thing they are not is betrayers---They will hold to the party line fully and completely. It really is absurd how dedicated they are to current Russian political views.
I would venture to say that they appear almost brain-washed in their belief in the radical Russian perspective; they are bonkers.
This monitoring and infiltration of the Christian Church has taken place in the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation for over a century now. Their main goals are power and influence, both of which can be found by those in charge of Russia's religious community. If they can take control of the religious institutions they can take control of the minds of a significant and indeed a very large percentage of the Russian people's minds. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing: they can be found out by the words that they speak. If you find a rabid Christian speaker who is wildly for the Russian party-lines then stop, accept the fact that they might be an infiltrator, and then go on in the realization that you may be dealing with a real live Russian asset.
Some things to consider, and with no exaggeration...
Cheers!
