    I was just doing some housecleaning in the mysql database that houses the global onelinerz and stumbled across the fact that we now have just under 3100 onelinerz stored in the system.

    I think once we hit 5000 or on December 1st (which happens to be our 4 yea anniversary here at bbs-scene.org) i'll release them all as one big text file.

    Maybe put them together in a book format and try to sell it on Amazon or at Chapters. Those fuckers from 2600 did it with all their letters to the
    editor, maybe you could make some cash from it.

    Sounds like a great idea - or just add something to the API so that I can down "x" number of oneliners starting with number "y". I could write a sc to browse through the onelinerz "archive".

    Easy enough to do, i'll change the api right now.

    Speaking of which, is the API producing JSON output for these yet? I have ideas for v3 of the Synchronet onelinerz script.

    JSON has always been available just undocumented. http://bbs-scene.org/api/onelinerz.json for onelinerz and http://bbs-scene.org/api/bbslist.json for the bbs list.

    Have at her, and if you want something added/removed just let me know.
