I was really ill when I was a child and remember looking at my own body once. It was like I was outside of myself. Would that be an out of body experience?

Re: Out of Body ExperienceWhen you had these experiences, did you feel peaceful or panicky to get back to yourself again?

I have had 3 OOB's that I thought to write down
2 of them were as a young man, during intense or heartfelt discussions with father. In one of them I actively remember trying to not panic and keep my h pointed at my dad while trying to listen and respond in "third person".
The third was during a minor surgical procedure; I remember getting a "ceili down" view of the operating room and 'saying' to myself "well sh!t...THIS ca be a good sign."

I have had dreams like that, where I am floating up and looking down on my b as it sleeps. I feel a pull back to it and usually wake with a jolt. My wife says she feels me spasm and catch my breath. I was tested for sleep apnea an that was negative. Very interesting topic guys.Robert,

Re: Out of Body ExperienceAs far as what little I can remember, absolute panic for the first time with my father. Never did tell him about it. The incident during the surgery I mostly remember feeling resigned - either I was going to play Age of Empires that evening or I would be catching up with my grandparents up on a cloud.
Re: Out of Body ExperienceI guess that is about it right? I am glad you got to play Age of Empires Noh. I understand why you did not tell your father about it. It is a hard thing for people that have never experienced it to understand. Have a great day Noh. Thank you for writing back to me.
